The Infinite, Messy Creative Thread
The “creative thread” as a metaphor has been with me for years. Even as my younger self, only starting to experiment and hone my body of work, I felt the connection. Infinite continuity flowing from one artistic expression to another, to personal and back again. Always woven, never linear.
I grew to trust this. I followed it to “weird” interests (with lists of all my classmates’ zodiac signs at age 12), unexplored territories (hello Tarot!), developed surprising practices (this is SelfMagic!), opened time capsules I didn’t know I buried (filled with color!) And even sketched a cartoon of my husband 20 years before I met him.
Connecting these dots came, of course, at unexpected times.
