The Project
I am a multidisciplinary artist whose work transforms play into a method of creation, reinvention, and resistance.
At the center of my practice is SelfMagic, an ongoing body of work in which I construct and activate LEGO®-built avatars known as the Divine Darlings — symbolic figures that embody strength, resilience, and continual becoming.
My work moves between sculpture, photography, video, and performance. Each piece begins as an act of play and unfolds into a moment of discovery, where I engage directly with materials, environment, and gesture.
The project operates as a living creation ecosystem: the physical goddesses, a growing body of images and films that capture their emergence, blueprint-like compositions mapping their structure, and written studio diaries tracing their evolution. Together, these form a layered archive of process, presence, and transformation.
The resulting works are not representations, but artifacts — traces of moments in which something previously unseen becomes visible.

As a counterpoint to digital detachment, I return to tactile, hands-on creative immersions. My practice positions making as a form of resistance: a refusal to fade, a call to take a risk, and a commitment to continuously reimagine the self.

The Creative Process
What began as a single LEGO® structure evolved into a sustained ritual of making — a recurring, improvisational practice developed over more than a decade.
Working between studio and natural environments, I become both performer and observer. Creation unfolds through interaction: with materials, with space, and with the unpredictability of external forces. It’s a dance with the elements, where nature becomes my ultimate collaborator.
There is no script and no retakes. Each work is captured in real time, shaped by wind, movement, instability, and response. The resulting images and videos are not staged compositions, but traces of an event — moments where control and surrender meet.
Through this process, the Divine Darlings (and I) undergo continuous transformation, reflecting cycles of emergence, disruption, and renewal.
